Chris Brown's expression did not look like the above the whole time. He was actually excited that his life was beginning to turn around when ex-girlfriend Rihanna lifted the restraining order that would have kept Chris Brown away from her until 2014.
This doesn't necessarily mean that these two are getting back together (although to me it would be quite foolish if they did, regardless of whether they were 'first loves').
