After that Game himself will personally review all lyrics and he will pick the winner. Rhinosilver Is Looking For 12 MUSIC TV SHOW HOSTS!! DEADLINE AUG 31st 2011

Okay, so by now you all should know or at least have an idea who Rhinosilver is and what they do. Especially since the last write up I did on them remains one of the top five most read entries on this blog.

Besides the fact that they're fastly becoming THE major distribution company who cater to distributing the product [cd's & dvd's] of artists who want to remain independent, they have also ventured off into TV Land. See one day you all will listen to me, I know potential when I see it. I told you all MONTHS ago about Rhinosilver I made a call out to Indy Artists so you all could jump on the bandwagon while they were still on ground level and NOW look at them!!! They're doing the George & Wheezy on us...."Movin On Up", and they are not playin'!

They just penned a deal with a major TV Station to produce Music TV Shows dealing with 6 different genres of music which I'll list later. The important thing is that they need hosts for these shows and that's where YOU come in.

So let me give you the rundown real quick. They'll have a total of 6 different shows showcasing, as I said before, 6 different genres of music and they need 2 hosts for each show. So in short, they're looking for 12 hosts in total, which means YOU have a really good shot of being one. Now of course nothing comes for free, and not that you have to pay any money, you DO have to spend some time on building in order to get the spot, and become a host on national TV.



Let me explain...Here are the steps you must take to "audition" so to speak.

1. Create a video telling viewers why you think YOU would be a good host for one of the 6 TV Shows. They're looking for personality, creativity, originality and a little knowledge about the genre of music for the show you want to be the host of wouldn't hurt either. There are a zillion ways you can be creative with telling them why you'd be the best person to pick for the job, so don't be afraid to use your imagination. You can even pretend you're actually hosting a show...you even have the names of all the shows listed below. Go out on a limb, and have fun with it. Remember the slogan for this contest...."Thousands Will Enter, But Only 12 Will Win. So that means you have to be so unique that YOU stand out among thousands! Oh yeah, don't panic if you don't have a professional camera to make a video. You can use your web cam, your cell phone, one of those flip cameras...hell even a small digital still camera, THEY even have a video option now....mostly all of them do.
2. Go this page on rhinosilver.com : http://www.rhinosilver.com/?t=producers
3. Look in the box in the upper left of the page that says "TOP PRODUCERS"
4. Click the button under where it says "Producers Join Here"
5. Then join. NOTE: Make sure you sign up as a producer, otherwise you won't be able to upload your video unless you pay for a membership. Remember I told you this was free? Well this is the only way you can get on the site and upload anything. If you join as a member you're limited because you'll only be signing up as a basic member.
6. So after you join you can finally upload your video to your account. Make sure you title it TV Host Contest, that way it will find it's self on the Music TV Show Contest page.
7. Finally after all that's done, tell everybody you know to go to your page on rhinosilver.com and VOTE for you to win....Tell them to go over there and VOTE like you were Obama running for his first term! Because THAT'S how you win! The people with the most votes win.

ATTN: ALL ARTISTS and PRODUCERS!!!!! Music Submissions For Spike Lee's New Movie Are Being Taken NOOOOOW!!!!

You know how Im always getting on you guys [unsigned artists] about not having the paperwork for your songs in order? No copyrights, no publishing, no clean edits, poor production....etc. Well, it is for opportunities such as this one I have in my hand right now, that pop up out of the blue and end up catching most of you unprepared....and then you wonder why you never get your big break! And really it's nobody's fault but your own, mainly because you haven't done the things YOU were supposed to do. Im doing my part in providing you with the information of opportunities, but you have to do your part by taking the information and actually doing something with it.

N-T-Way....This entry is not to brow beat you in any way...and Im not going to go into another one of my tangents.  But for the record, I only go there because I love people who are blessed with God given talents and I don't believe they should be wasted due to lack of knowledge. So if I seem hard on Artists sometimes it's only because I want them to do better. Tough love may be hard to take sometimes but it is INTENDED to make a person do better.



So here's what I got! Spike Lee is the Executive Producer of a new movie titled "You're Nobody Til Somebody Kills You" which is written and directed by a brotha who is definitely on the rise, Michael A. Pinckney. Right now they are looking for original music for the movie score (the soundtrack) This is where YOU come in, or any artist you know. PLEASE make sure the paperwork on the submitted tracks is legit otherwise YOU WILL NOT GET PAID!!! Because IF your tracks are picked you WILL get paid.

All submissions must be sent to ugcnetwork@gmail.com no later than MAY 29th 2011 at Midnight. Any track submitted after that will be NOT be sent in so don't miss the boat or your azz will be stuck on the island! If you submit an unedited version of a track, you MUST submit the clean edit as well. Submit all tracks along with your NAME, EMAIL ADDY, CONTACT NUMBER and A PHYSICAL ADDRESS. Please don't not send in any more than 4 tracks if you are an artist. Producers may send in no more than 5 Instrumentals. Tracks MUST be in MP3 format. If you send in more than what is mentioned above some of them will not make the cut. If the songs are not in MP3 format they will not make the cut as well.

Once your music is submitted it will be considered. If they choose one of your tracks you will be notified and then sent the necessary paperwork so that you can get your royalty money.

The Jr. Music Executive Internship Program includes training sessions, intern meetings, hands-on work experience at partnering internship locations, and numerous networking opportunities.

So there you have it people, the brotha is making a call out for music submissions. As an artist trying to get exposure from every outlet possible, THIS is something you should break your neck to follow through on. I'll be posting other Indy Radio Stations that support unsigned artists in the future. It is stations like this who WILL PLAY and support your music. You just have to make sure YOUR game is tight. Don't go to this man or anybody I send you to half azzed. Meaning, make sure you're handling your BUSINESS.

Here's the check list:


• Make sure copyright/Publishing is in order for every track you send ANYBODY.
• Clean edited versions of your tracks (No cursing and no usage of the word nigga that's not cute and when dealing with radio "keeping it real" in that sense will not get your music played.) 
• If you send in a whole CD (mp3 format of course) ALWAYS point out which song the single is, and ALWAYS make sure you pick one as a single. The station is not going to play all your tracks just because you send them and YOU say "All them joints is nice."
• Be prepared for interviews and appearances just in case one of your joints really IS nice and the station decides to get behind you and be supportive.
• Submit a bio with your music, the radio personality doesn't only want to play your music, they have to know something about YOU as well. Who you are, What you do, How long you've been doing it, what you've done, etc. This information helps them tell the listeners (people who will buy your music) more about you. People don't support artist they know nothing about.....remember that!
• Send a picture of yourself, something nice to represent you and keep it tasteful. This is the first image people who don't know you will see. This is your introduction.....and you know what they say about first impressions.

All this is what the industry calls a package and everything included in that package is necessary... and it's all for a reason. So now you don't have to ask what you should send, it should be a standard procedure that you send everyone a full package, then you can never go wrong. If you go to the 'Artists' page on the Chrismorale website you'll understand WHY all this is necessary.
